What will you be doing?
Your main task will be to increase the quality in our delivered products and services, and your role will initially be centered around three different areas:
- You will have ownership of our management system according to ISO 9001:2015 and take lead in securing that we work with continuous improvements in regards to our processes. You will here be a key contributor to securing that we have cross-functional processes with well-defined interfaces between different roles, activities and systems.
- You will work with definition, setting of targets and follow-up of KPIs related to our quality, such as follow-up of incident and claim statistics and cost of poor quality. The work will also include analyzing the results and identifying areas for improvement and ensuring that necessary actions are taken when required.
- You will run quality investigations and co-ordinate different efforts required to find and solve root causes related to both hardware and software issues. This work can also include communication with both suppliers and customers.
The work will require a pragmatic approach since we are an organization which is growing rapidly, and we believe that the role will develop over the coming years as we further establish our processes and ways of working. You will work both on an operational and on a strategic level, so we expect you to take an active part in creating the vision of where we want to be in terms of quality while at the same time being a part of getting things done when needed in the daily business.
The role is placed within the Supply Chain organization in Halmstad and you will report to the Supply Chain Director. You will however work throughout our whole value chain and across our different functions, and especially close to our Service Center, our purchasing department and our production QAs. The role will require travelling from time to time, both to our office in Norrköping but also to our suppliers and our customers when needed.
Who are we looking for?
We believe that you have a university degree in engineering and/or at least five years of experience in a similar role. You have a genuine interest for technology, and we think that you have worked in one or more companies delivering software and/or electronic products.
You have strong leadership skills and preferably also project and process management skills, and you are a team player who takes responsibility for a successful outcome of tasks given. You are skilled in communication, both verbal and in writing, and you have a passion for driving change to increase quality and customer satisfaction. Swedish is mandatory for this role and since English is our corporate language we expect you to have a high professional knowledge and be able to speak, read and write freely in both languages.
It is also meriting if you have experience of working with quality improvement methods such as 5S, VSM, FMEA, 5xW, 8D, LEAN or Six Sigma.
